Vietnam MARD Visit February 2024
End of February 2024, SFSI welcomed a delegation from the Vietnamese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development for a Study Visit to Ireland as part of the Ireland-Vietnam Agri-Food Partnership. The Delegation of 7 spend the week in Dublin and visited the Teagasc Ashtown Food Research Centre and the Food Industry Development Department as well as UCD Lyons Farm to explore Irish research in the consumer foods and livestock sector.
They also engaged in conversations with the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, SFSI, Bord Bia and the Food Safety Authority of Ireland to discuss further collaboration opportunities under the 5-year project that commenced in September 2023. A key food & beverage retail visit to explore Irish products & brands, concluded their visit to Ireland.
